Who are THE COMPASSIONATE GIVERS?

When you are willing to help someone, carving a way is never difficult. There are hurdles but the passion to do something good for others, keeps us motivated.

WHAT WAS OUR IDEA?

➢We will ask people to sort out clothes that they don’t wear but are in good condition and they want to give them away.

➢We will take pictures of those clothes from them and display those on social media page.

➢We will fix a very low amount for those clothes.

➢We would introduce people to the page and will convince them to buy stuff.

➢The amount collected by the clothes sold out would be used to conduct a FOOD DRIVE for the poor.

➢A video will be designed so that all the process is made clear, the video will be uploaded on all the social media sites so that people would be encouraged to give away and buy clothes keeping in mind the essential and noble cause of food drive.

➢If anyone is willing to buy something, he will be sending us the amount and the person whose clothes he is willing to buy, and that person will send the clothes to the address told by the buyer. Delivery charges would be requested to be considered as a “charity” from the person who is giving away the dress.

➢In this way, we can collect money for the food drive in the most creative way.

WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM STATEMENT?

Due to several scams, many people even if willing cannot conduct food drives because people refuse to give money due to doubts.

WHAT IS OUR AIM?

In the most creative way, we can collect money from the people and work for the biggest problem in our country i.e. hunger.

HOW WE PLANNED OUR WORK?

1. We are 7 members and the work would be divided accordingly.

2. We need to make a social media page on Instagram and promote it on other applications to gain the maximum number of followers. This task will be done by 2 of our team mates. The dead line for this will be the last week of January.

3. Next, the most important thing will be the videos that would be made by one of the team members. This has to be done by 30th January at the maximum.

4. In February, first week, our targets would be reaching the maximum number of people personally so that they can buy and give away as decided.

5. All of the team members will be actively reaching out to as many people as possible.

6. One team member will be put on the constant duty to actively navigate the collection of payments.

7. One member will be making sure the deliveries are taking place correctly or not.

8. This would continue until we get our amount collected.

9. The collection would be stopped 1 week before the final presentation of the MEGA project.

10. All the money collected would be used to conduct a food drive.

11. The results would be noted down and the work on the presentation would start and completed by all of us.

OUR TEAMWORK AND CHALLENGES WE ARE FACING TOGETHER:

I made the video which included the detail of the entire concept of ours. It included a complete voice over in Urdu and English subtitles along with that.

Muhammad Shafique made the Facebook page. Saleman made the Instagram page. Arooba designed our LOGO. We had a detailed discussion in which we decided name of our project i.e. THE COMPASSIONATE GIVERS.

Rafi Ullah has put great efforts in promoting the pages along with Arooba, Aamir Khan Marofi also took part in it. Muhammad Saad along with Rafi Ullah and M. Shafique worked really hard to convince people to donate the dresses and their work is going great.

Meanwhile I am trying to encourage the members of my group who are facing a lot of difficulties in persuading people to donate and work with us.

We are trying our level best to make our project successful and we are hopeful we will succeed In shaa Allah.
